'To
offer your child a secular, safe and affordable environment, qualified expertise
and extra curricular activities for the discovery and release of his innate
physical, intellectual and creative potential.'
We are an affordable non-profit childcare centre:
We are
registered as a sole-proprietorship of Poh Ern Shih, PES (http://www.pohernshih.org),
Temple of Thanksgiving, a Buddhist temple located at 9 Chwee Chian Road, which
is a limited company without shares and a registered charity (registered number
009). As such we are not profit-oriented and if we do make a profit, we donate
80% of our audited net income to other registered charities in Singapore
operated by all the 4 major religions. All members of the management committee
and directors are volunteers and do not receive any remuneration. We therefore
try to make our centre available to children from less fortunate circumstances
with our economic subsidies and financial assistance plans.
Philosophy of care:
|

will not indoctrinate your child with any singular religious teaching |

in
2006, we offer English Speech and Drama, and Yoga lessons by outside professional
service providers as part of our holistic approach to education for your
child. As a matter of principle, we will not charge extra fees for ECA’s

guardians cannot afford the extra fees. |
